Vanessa is a social worker in private practice. She has 27 years of professional experience in a variety of settings including a school, hospital, child and adolescent psychiatric unit and child abuse treatment centre. She has a particular interest in parenting, child development, child psychiatry and Gender Variance. She has worked with gender variant children and adolescents, and their families for 13 years. In recent years she has developed and applied the methodology of Clinical Case Management to assist children and families facing ongoing medical, developmental and psychological challenges, including Gender Variance.
