Nabeelah Kathrada is a speech therapist and audiologist currently in private practice in Northmead , Benoni. She has a keen interest in neurological communication/swallowing disorders across the life-span. She provides intervention , to the paediatric and adult populations for an array of speech , language , communication , swallowing and feeding disorders. She has a passion for community rehabilitation and previously worked in this context. She enjoys conducting workshops and talks on a number of areas related to her scope of practice , to parents , patients , and other health care professionals. She is also currently completing her Master’s degree with a focus on stroke patient’s with aphasia. She believes in early intervention, patient centered care and a functional approach to therapy. She also loves learning , researching , presenting and networking!
