An internationally experienced healthcare professional and strong team player with focus on Risk Management and Quality Improvement in healthcare. Megan led the neurological rehabilitation physiotherapy team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, in the UK, and has worked on several quality initiatives at both pilot and large scale levels. In Brazil, Megan successfully supported fund raising activity and acted, in a voluntary capacity, as a rehabilitation advisor to a low-income patient suffering from paraplegia.
Megan currently works in South Africa as a Risk Executive for a leading multi-disciplinary therapy services provider (McCulloch, Harrison & Partners). Main responsibilities include quality improvement, compliance management, adverse event and complaints management and driving company strategy. Megan holds a BSc in Physiotherapy from King’s College London and has completed both the Harvard University’s Edx course “Improving Global Health: Focusing on Quality and Safety” and the Institute for Health Improvement’s “Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety”.
