Helen Roome is an Occupational therapist with almost 30 years of broad clinical experience who, over the past decade, has gained recognition in the local and international pain community for her expertise in pain care, particularly with Fibromyalgia. She has postgraduate qualifications in interdisciplinary pain management, presents regularly, and has authored or contributed to publications on pain management, including publishing her popular book “Your Pain Playbook: effective daily strategies for life beyond pain”. She established a thriving Fibromyalgia educational support group 8 years ago, which she now co-facilitates with people living with the condition.
