I qualified as a Speech Therapist and Audiologist from the University of Pretoria in 2010 and was fortunate enough to be placed at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital in 2011 for my community service year, where I stayed until 2021. It was there that I developed my passion for working with the adult neuro population. I also had the opportunity to develop and expand the AAC service (including low- and high-technology AAC). I obtained my Master’s degree in 2016 in the field of voice disorders, which is also a particular area of interest to me. In 2021, I moved to McCulloch Harrson & Partners which further allowed me to practice and develop my skills in working with adult neuro patients.
