Based in Upington, Cindy completed her Speech, Language and Hearing Therapy degree at Stellenbosch University in 2016, and in 2025 she graduated with distinction with a Master’s degree in Augmentative and Alternative Communication from the University of Pretoria. She has over nine years of experience working in both the public health and education sectors across the Northern Cape and Gauteng. She is currently work as a Chief Speech Therapist in the Northern Cape Department of Education, where she supports learners with profound intellectual disabilities in special care centres. She is also a first-year PhD student in Early Childhood Intervention at the University of Pretoria.
