Dr. Marinda Raubenheimer is a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience in paediatric intervention. She specialises in working with Autistic children across the spectrum as well as children presenting with language delays and Developmental Verbal Dyspraxia. Marinda is currently the head of Blaze@The Sanctuary Center for Autism intervention and educational support. The specialised training that she received in Positive Behaviour Support and Early Intervention has proved essential in her work across various settings over the years.
Charene is an Occupational Therapist working in paediatrics for the past 20 years. She is trained in Ayres Sensory Integration and specialises in Neurodiversity and early intervention. She has been working at Blaze@TheSanctuary, a centre for autistic children, for the past 8 years. She is passionate about neurodiversity and assisting both children and their families in understanding their challenges and celebrating their strengths. Positive behaviour support is part of her daily therapy input and vital in supporting both staff and parents in understanding behaviour challenges.
