Seventeen years ago, Carmen embarked on a career journey that has seen her excel in spaces including physiotherapeutic rehabilitation, senior leadership and Directorship of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation practice. She has led both acute and out-patient units from an operational management perspective, and, in 2017, became Clinical Executive, responsible for providing clinical leadership and oversight of the Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy departments within the practice. She has a Masters in Rehabilitation Science, and she has extensive therapeutic experience in the fields of Neurology, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Oncology and Chronic Pain conditions.Her journey has enabled involvement in the development and use of Electronic Health Record and practice management systems, informed consent, leadership, communication, teamwork and stakeholder relationship management.
