Bunty McDougall is a paediatric occupational therapist with over 35 years of experience in childhood development. She is trained in Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI) and Bobath Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT), and is well-known for her dynamic and practical therapist, teacher and parent workshops. She is the sole developer of The Wall Model® of occupational performance, documented in the textbook The Wall®, and further expounded in the annual lecture series she conducted at the University of Cape Town. Bunty believes children learn best when they are having fun. One of her passions is using the latest research to create fun and engaging activities so children can learn “the right way the first time”. Her special interest in fine motor skills and handwriting has led to the development of The Happy Handwriter series. She has authored over 20 publications and regularly publishes blog posts on The Happy Handwriter blog.
