Andrea Fourie is a speech therapist at Thrive Therapy Services working with neonates and young children. She has more than 15 years of clinical experience in neonates and paediatric intensive care units and has worked in both private and academic settings. Andrea has a special interest in complex infant feeding, interdisciplinary collaboration, and paediatric critical care. She is a certified neonatal therapist and is working towards her certification as a Trauma Informed Practitioner. Andrea is an honorary lecturer in the Department of Community Paediatrics at the University of the Witwatersrand and has taught both locally and internationally.
