ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Beverly is a nationally recognized speaker hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, with 50+ years of experience as an Occupational Therapist. As a school therapist, she served more than fifteen school districts, visiting over 60 different schools. Her broad exposure to varied teacher methods, administrative styles, and treatment interventions confirmed her resolve to ensure function, participation and inclusion for all students without wasting time.
A tireless advocate for best practices and research, she is on the advisory board of several universities, sought-after guest lecturer, Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association, approved provider of continuing education through AOTA, and frequent contributor to discussions related to handwriting on print and social media.
President and CEO of Real OT Solutions, Inc., she is also the author of the Size Matters Handwriting Program. Supported by more research than any other approach, including the largest study ever done on handwriting, SMHP’s concepts and strategies are rapidly being embraced across the US and internationally.
