TITLE : When Therapy Meets Data: How Technology Is Transforming Rehabilitation & Education
About the talk:
This webinar explores the powerful intersection between clinical practice and technology, offering a fresh perspective on how data can enhance outcomes in both rehabilitation and educational settings.
From an Occupational Therapy viewpoint, we unpack real-world challenges therapists face daily—ranging from managing documentation and tracking progress to communicating effectively with parents and making informed clinical decisions. The session highlights how these demands can be streamlined without compromising the human, relationship-centered nature of therapy.
From an IT perspective, the webinar introduces how data engineering and AI can be used to organise information, identify meaningful trends, and support better decision-making—presented in a practical, accessible way that requires no technical background.
Designed for therapists, educators, clinic managers, and rehabilitation centres, this session offers valuable insights into how technology can support—not replace—professional expertise, ultimately leading to more efficient systems and improved client outcomes.
PRESENTERS: Maha Dridi (Occupational Therapist) and Fedi Soltani (Data and Business Intelligence Engineer)
Together they present from both a clinical and a technological perspective, combining human-centered occupational therapy practice with data systems, AI, and technology, in a way that is accessible, practical, and highly relevant to today’s professionals.
