TITLE. Safety Planning in Practice: From concern to confident action in real-world safeguarding
ABOUT THE TALK:
This practical course focuses on safety planning in real-world safeguarding contexts, helping professionals move from uncertainty to confident action. Using case-based scenarios, participants will learn how to assess risk, identify protective factors, and develop clear, proportionate safety plans. The training also explores working with families and professionals, maintaining boundaries, and recording decisions in a defensible way. By the end, participants will feel more equipped to respond to concerns, manage risk proactively, and adapt plans over time within a trauma-informed framework.
