TITLE: Safeguarding Adults at Risk – Recognising harm, navigating complexity, and responding with professional judgement
ABOUT THE TALK: This practical course focuses on safeguarding vulnerable adults in real-world contexts, helping professionals recognise risk and respond with clarity and confidence. Using case-based scenarios, participants will explore indicators of harm, neglect, and exploitation, and learn how to make proportionate, defensible decisions. The training also covers professional boundaries, consent, and working with others to support safe outcomes. By the end, participants will feel more equipped to identify concerns early, respond appropriately, and contribute to safer, more accountable practice.
