Presenter Bio: Jodie is a business owner in her thirties with a passion for growth, independence, and helping others navigate life’s challenges. She has been living with a spinal cord injury since the age of 22, giving her almost a decade of firsthand insight into the realities of paralysis — from the early days of hospitalisation and rehabilitation to building a full, meaningful, and independent life.

Through her journey, she has come to understand the critical role that routine, mindset, resilience, and adaptation play in long-term recovery — lessons that are not always fully captured within clinical settings. She is passionate about sharing her lived experience to help bridge the gap between rehabilitation and real life, offering valuable perspectives for both healthcare professionals and those navigating life after injury.
