TITLE: Social-emotional development as a basis for learning for Educators and Therapists
ABOUT THE TALK: This presentation explores how social-emotional development forms the foundation for all meaningful learning. Learning doesn’t begin with academics, it begins with feeling safe, regulated, and connected. This session introduces the “Pyramid of Learning” to help teachers understand the critical role of social-emotional development in supporting attention, behaviour, language and learning in the classroom.
