Self Esteem – SACE

This presentation will look at the following topics:

• What is self-esteem
• The impact of self-esteem on children’s learning
• Recognising the signs of low self-esteem
• Ways of bringing self-esteem into your practice or classroom
• How self-esteem develops
• The talk will target the three areas that teachers and therapists can focus on to encourage a child’s healthy self-esteem i.e. Relationship with self, Belief in competence and Emotional regulation.
